Fifty participants, specifically caregivers of patients with epilepsy, contributed to this research. The Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), the Adult Separation Anxiety Scale (ASA), and a sociodemographic form were completed by each participant.
In the study, a substantial 54% of patients experienced generalized seizures, contrasting with 46% who exhibited focal seizures. Female caregivers in our research demonstrated a greater BAI measurement than male caregivers. In this study, we are undertaking the first exploration of separation anxiety in caregivers of patients suffering from epilepsy. In order to conduct a cross-sectional study, an online survey questionnaire was administered. Within the study population were 1458 students representing all seven Greek medical schools.

In approximately 5% of the global population, adhesive capsulitis, a frequent health issue, affects shoulder mobility, thereby decreasing their quality of life. This study investigated the impact of a combined treatment approach—suprascapular nerve block and low-power laser therapy—on the severity of pain, physical movement, functional limitations, and the quality of life of patients experiencing adhesive capsulitis.
A total of sixty patients affected by adhesive capsulitis were enrolled in the study, conducted between December 2021 and June 2022. The group assignments were randomly determined, with twenty individuals in each of three groups. Superior outcomes in adhesive capsulitis management are observed when these interventional modalities are employed jointly, compared to the use of laser therapy or suprascapular nerve block alone. For this reason, the use of this combination is advisable for treating musculoskeletal pain, specifically in cases of adhesive capsulitis.
In the treatment of adhesive capsulitis, both suprascapular nerve block and low-power laser therapy exhibit positive therapeutic effects.
